Becky Hyatt Rickenbaker creates compelling realistic paintings with acrylic paint on canvas, depicting wildlife, nature, landscapes, people and pets. Her work is inspired by organic beauty, light, weather and routine observations made during outdoor adventures and daily experiences. 

A lifelong explorer of South Carolina’s Lowcountry as well as the mountains of Western North Carolina, her paintings are built with layers of paint and washes to create an emotional connection between her art and the viewer.

A native of Summerville, South Carolina, and graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta, her paintings are in private collections and have been exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the Carolinas, as well as published in books and magazines.  

She accepts commissions.
